Looks like Magnus’ gas attack went viral. The speculation of the method of cheating was a little shocking. Don’t know how you could prevent cheating playing chess remotely unless both players were being observed.

My first thought was “medical issue”. He’d gotten jabbed and was about to drop dead any second from “unknown cause”. Then I learned a little bit more about this chess match and came to a different opinion. For those who don’t know much about the game, it’s like a great general on the battlefield going head to head with another great general. It requires concentration, strategy, and the ability to plan moves ahead of time in any given situation in which the opponent may place you. You may even have to try to psych your opponent out and you don’t do that unless face to face on the battlefield. Here I see Magnus as a Julius Caesar type general. He is an honorable warrior who has won great victories and has been given great honor. I sensed from what little body language there is here, that honor is what is at stake for Magnus in this particular match. Hans, on the other hand, is just too relaxed for this type of battle. I suspect he doesn’t have to concentrate or plan moves because something is doing that for him and Magnus either knows or suspects it. He believed he was competing against someone without honor or morals. He isn’t even competing against another general. The best Magnus could even hope to achieve is a stalemate and even that would be difficult just because he isn’t doing battle against a fellow human being. It’s like Caesar taking his army into battle against a star wars army. I applaud Magnus for controlling himself (not throwing a fit) and immediately leaving the battlefield with his honor and his dignity intact. Of course, I may be way off on this, but that’s what I’m seeing anyway.

my initial thought was the baseball shenanigans…. remember when their ratings were dropping and all of the sudden there was this steroid controversy…. but who knows.

That certainly is a possibility, Mandy. The monetary prizes awarded to the winners of chess tournaments is a heck of a lot. Could be half a million to a million or more. Where the prize money comes from exactly, I don’t know. But, if we follow the money we may get a much clearer picture about what’s going on now.

Only so called esoteric power that exist is telepathy. It consists of sending, receiving and disruption of data, idea and emotion. Chess is probably filled with it. Looking at this, it seems that Magnus is on a receiving end and Hans is a disruptor. If true, Hans probably has a person or crew that sends him moves to play. That would explain timed moves. Shallow Alpha is enough to “plug in” and it can be achieved easily when closing eyes to remove light disturbance thru visual cortex (data disruption) and/or thru meaningless repetitive movements to avoid disruption from physicals body (sensory action doesn’t disrupt mental action) like chewing, pencil fidgeting, nervous leg movement and such. They both cheat!

I was thinking too that this is some kind of stunt,
maybe to get more viewers etc,
and also agree with maybe as explained it is
a medical thing happening.
BUT – hehehe
there were a few times i was thinking that
his blinking eye lids looked like they were blinking
on a incline in a matter of speaking.
maybe because his eyes are close together.
I cant help to think lol maybe just maybe
he was ready to shape shift lol hahaha hmmm…
No really i do need eye glasses for sure and yes the picture
quality was poor however there were a few blinks that
made me second guess myself.
is it just me ? Any one else see or think that too ???
seems every video makes me thing of a song too lol
think am going to go listen to Calling occupants song lol
