It is the mind giving false information to its observers. It is important to understand this concept, because a Belief System is not deception.
The mind and the body have to agree in order for the body to sing/dance.
The reasons a body gives a deceiver away is because of emotions and the chemicals they dump into the body. A few examples, fear, joy, love, hate, jealousy, ect…
Turn off emotion and deception is done with out stress. But now the mind has to mimic natural flow and it will always be a portrayal.
Explanations of terminology I use in my videos.
Body Singing/Dancing
Every ones body has a natural rhythm when it interacts with people openly. As the Waltz is different from the Tango so are people’s body singing/dancing.
When the body does not sing/dance it will tighten, become still, and, or, jerk unnaturally. You will also see the individual stretch certain muscles to release tension.
Portrayal
The act of a person putting emphasis in their body about the words they are saying. This alone is not a tell of deception.
However when combined with other tells, gives more evidence to a person’s deception/lying.
Farkas Look
A term I made up after Farkas went on national TV to defend herself.
It is a wide eye stare, where you can see the whites of the eye around the pigment. This denotes high stress.
Believe Me Look
The act of holding the eyebrows up for longer than one to two words. Denotes high stress on its own. This should not be confused with an emphasis on words. Those movements are quick and do not stay ‘up’.
Mirror Effect
This is a person who is watching themselves in a mirror or a live video of themselves. A normal mind has a hard time deceiving itself. When a person tries to deceive themselves, in the mirror effect, the tells are much more pronounced.
Gated
Interlocking your fingers and Crossing your arms.
This serves mentally to control the information in and out of the mind.
Relaxed
You will see this as the face falls into a more natural expression. The shoulders and spine will get into a position that allows for an easy resting posture. At this moment the mind is not guarded.
Submissive
This is achieved in many ways. Lowering ones head to the dominant. Lowering ones eyes to the dominant. Giving your space to a dominant. Being interrupted and allowing the interruption. We need to see more than two submissive moves in order to call it submissive.
Dominant
This can be mistaken for an aggressive mind. Facing people squarely, holding your head high, stepping into others personal space are all signs of a dominant. This also needs at least two signs to say dominance.

Eye Blinking
A normal conversational blink does not close the eye all the way. Stress will close an eye all the way. This tell, when put with other tells will say what the meaning of what the eye close is. Rapid blinking is high stress. And goes with deception. But you should see other tells to confirm this.
The ways people try and hide their deception.
Using the Environment to Hide
We see this when a deceptive person is bouncing in their chair to fake a singing body. A chair can help move the body in ways to make it seem natural.
Controled Breathing
Breathing while trying to hide stress causes deceptive people to take in many deep breaths. By learning to control the breathing they are hiding that one tell. Unfortunately, the reason for the deep breaths is the stress induced heart rate and blood pressure. Which has your body requiring more O2. And we see quicker breathing, breath holding, and staggered breathing.
Lying by Omission
Deception using this technique are not impossible to catch. You just have to listen to hear where the holes are in their story. This does create tells. But the tell will show up before and after a ‘hole’ and can confuse the ‘reader’ by encompassing a truth. Asking the right questions will reveal it.
Lawyer Speak
By using language to confuse their own mind and body to sing with itself. They are not only fooling you, they are fooling themselves. For example, claiming to not be eating ice cream when I clearly am, in my mind I am eating Frozen Yogurt. My body sings with me and you are none the wiser.
Self Comfort
Petting or holding ones self is a way for the body to relieve stress. This is a tell that you can see. By itself it does not mean deception but with other tells it is a deceptive tell. The act of self comfort releases endorphin.
Mixing Truth and Lies
An example would be, “I am at the Park walking the dog.” It would be true that I am at the park. It would not be true that I am walking the dog. This kind of deception will move from a body singing to stillness very quickly.
