I know very little about these protests and I have a deep mistrust of Bibi, so I did a bit of fishing. Having read GOMF’s comment, I learned the protestors appear to be leftists, so I looked into that, which led me to an article that said a very large number of the protestors are from Big Tech. I went on to The Jerusalem Post and learned that the above video is from the OurCrowd Global Investor Summit and that Big Tech in Israel depends heavily on direct foreign investment: https://www.jpost.com/business-and-innovation/all-news/article-731674 That’s what these protests are about. Between them and Bibi, I’ve come to the conclusion that there are no good guys in this drama. Neither one cares about justice, only about money and power. We have our own drama going on here and there’s probably some connection along the way to the WEF. Thanks for doing this one, Mandy.
I have enough trouble figuring out what’s going on in the USA, but these protestors seem to be mostly what are considered the left here. It looks like the legislation under debate would require a constitutional amendment in the US, but not in Israel. Wonder if the courts have done what they did in Brazil, and overstepped their powers, leading to this. One interesting fact is that starting Friday, Israel was under unprecedented cyber attack from Silicon Valley and Ukraine.
