What has happened? I bet it stared long ago in grade schools, being taught that Socialism is better than okay; that they are owned.

it is happening all over the world. I see people going to university/college bright young people, positive about the future and they come out as lunatics, very pessimistic and defeatists..

I am afraid it starts even earlier. Even though I was a therapist and administrator in a middle school, for a variety of reasons I ended up doing “transition plans” for 8th graders. Since it was a therapeutic school, and the kids had a variety of problems, a university education with advanced degrees was not a realistic career and educational goal for most of them. As a result, I developed a curriculum that would help them develop realistic career and educational goals. There is a massive amount of resistance to any type of this in elementary and secondary education. There is almost zero realistic school counseling and a tremendous push towards pointing kids to college with vague “find your bliss” ideology. Students are almost protected and insulated from understanding how the world works rather than guiding them into it. Then the Marxist professors get ahold of them.

Sure, it’s indoctrination and the primary source is within the education system. It starts in preschool with the government usurping the role of parents throughout grade school. Children who aren’t old enough to drive, smoke, donate blood, or get a tattoo can now get sex change surgery in America *without* parent’s consent. The government is taking over parent’s rights of guardianship and giving legal consent and support by paying for the child’s surgery. That’s child abuse and sexual exploitation. If an individual did to children what the government is doing they’d be in jail or worse. By college, our kids are taught by radical influencers and activist bully profs. And they leave college without the skills of independent thought or rationale. Just the way the government wants it.

That’s what happened to me. I’m a Millennial and I went to public edumacation. There, I was taught that capitalism chokes and sputters because rich people will own everything, having all that they want, and poor people become completely poor, so poor they cannot buy anything. So, the economy under capitalism is doomed, a la 1930.
In reality, while much of their claims are true, the economy was sputtering back to life after the Great Depression without government involvement, but the government decided to start interferring anyways, which created lots of government regulations and government organizations, which bloated the government and put us onto a downward spiral of debt and borrowing. Now we have so many government regulations and so that Millennials cannot get anywhere in life. We’re chronically broke and miserable. It is a brutal irony that my generation are so sold out on the very ideas that make us miserable and want more of it, thinking that will fix it.
I went to a private business school and I learned about how an economy really functions. We need low taxes so after working hard and taking risks we get to keep the fruits of our labor, low regulations so we can keep injecting into the market new and fresh ideas and make it easier for new businesses to try (regulations make it hard to start a business which protects monopolies), low government corruption (which is easy with a small government with complicated checks and balances), among a few others things.

That is why I am so glad we have Trump who did lower the taxes and wants to lower them even more. He already got rid of a bunch of regulations and will get rid of more. Trump is what we need and not idiots like Biden or Sanders who have no idea of how the world works. My grandfather said once and I remember it well for some reason “When communism has run the world everyone will know it wont work and it will stop and be entirely eliminated “. The problem is that we need to learn from the past and use those lessons for the future. Everyone is trying to make things better with a NEW SYSTEM, NEW IDEAS etc while the old stuff with a little bit of updating works just fine. Same thing for teaching in school. Boy I could write a book about it. But I don’t think they’ll let me here. Sure there is a limit on how much can be written. Anyway look to the past, learn history and/or teach it and we will be much better off.

There’s a reason why facts and logic completely fail to persuade. It stems from the human condition but there’s also a history that goes with it. Gnosticism stems from Neoplatonism which stems from Platonism. If you studies these ideas until you understood them like it’s adhearances did, you’ll see the great many parallels in their thought with the crazy we see today. The great many bleeding-heart movements we see are a blatant reflection of the many cults in history, like the Bogomils and the Cathars.
The problem is romanticism. Hitler was a romantic, and so are many others. The idea of Romanticism is to reject facts and logic but to follow your passion until your own death. This is why liberals come up with insane ideas and call you disparaging names when you disagree. “I stand for the cute, fuzzy things!” they say, and you’ll say, “But what about fiscal responsibility?” “You hate the cute fuzzy things!” It makes them feel good. That’s all it does.
In Gosticism, the outer world is a lie, it’s evil, to be ignored, in favor of the inner world. I feel good because I stand up for the cute fuzzy things. Therefore you’re wrong.

What you mean is..”What has Happened to America” Past tense ! Berkeley,Columbia,Georgetown,Hollywood and 90% of all media HAS BEEN nothing more than a BOLSHEVIK lead effort to indoctrinate three generations of our young. This Is The Big Push toward communism.

If you ask me, I think they are all just jealous that ‘they didn’t think of it’ – especially exprezo with the rallies….and there was cory booker peed off and actually said: ‘he shouldn’t be able to do that!’ Sure thing there cory.

clint eastwood wishes the president would act “in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names. I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level.” And what did clint do recently? Oh yea, joined bloomberg who is anti gun and yet, clint, how did you make your millions? Oh yea, using guns?

People should be more concerned as to why Trump wants Space Force – it’s not about putting a flag on Mars – it has to do with controlling information which China wants to tap into. (5g) Check out Steven L. Kwast (Lieutenant General, United States Air Force (Ret.) on ‘Imprimis’ article and he will educate you. There is more at stake here clint than Trump’s name calling! Oh, and by the way clint, bloomberg STEPPED DOWN last night.

Just got done reading chapter 7 of Profiles in Corruption by Peter Schweitzer. If Mrs. Sanders is doing the media buying for the campaign as she did in 2016, and collecting a 15% commission on the hundreds of millions of dollars spent on media, they might rake in enough for a house in every state. There is almost no oversight into this by the FEC except to declare on a form that she made “more than 1000 dollars” and pay taxes on the income. Bernie’s lack of doing any meaningful work at any point in his life, combined with this and the likelihood that he will be paid for his endorsement like the last time, leads me to believe that he has no intention of winning an election. This would explain his lack of emotion about being undermined.

He has avoided actual work his entire life- way too lazy to actually serve as President. Like many of his followers, he is a basement kid. The only difference is his age.

Not a normal response. He’s just heard of a 2nd plot against him (last election) yet he isn’t stress and isn’t surprised. I want to know what he knows. What’s his role in all this? But just mention Trump, ring the bell, and watch the Left go off. They’ve become perpetual activists. I’m convinced classic liberalism is dead, considered a Right wing traitors who must be brought down. So if they’re trying to bring down communist apologist Bernie, what does that say?… Deep state rules?

The irony when he talks about income inequality, considering he will sell his delegates for the right price, the income his campaign pays his wife, and being a millionaire, is thick.

He definitely isn’t surprised by anything Anderson says. ? Guess Bernie views Trump as the hindrance to cementing socialism in our Nation?

Thanks for doing this, Mandy!

Not only that, but the Australian Labor Party illegally sent a delegation of volunteers to campaign for Sanders and created a telephone donation solicitation operation based in Sydney to contact Americans to donate to his campaign. I do not know what their agenda is, but it was clearly attempting to avoid scrutiny of the FEC.

Interesting analysis. Bernie is a complicated soul who only recently has been taken seriously. The man is smart, driven and weird. And what about that thick Brooklyn accent? How many decades has he been in Vermont? Weird.

This is all very scary to me. Yeah, Bernie’s just one angry guy and most of his followers are too, which is scary. As socialist countries around the world where their citizens are protesting their leaders and corrupt politicians and no longer want socialism… they want FREEDOM. The sheer ignorance of our own young voters, college age children, millennials and the leftist who hear the word FREE and for them that’s a magic word, it holds so much power, never realizing that nothing is free. To everyone who voted for Bernie yesterday, please do us a huge favor and spend a month in Venezuela and get back to us after that. Please ask the people there how they like everything is free. Or talk to a Cuban refugee in south Florida, let them enlighten you on the trials and tribulation of what socialism really is all about. OPPRESSION!

In the same way that a Ponzi scheme works, socialism initially succeeds but eventually collapses under its own weight, socialism may show early signs of success. But any accomplishments quickly fade as the fundamental deficiencies of central planning emerge. It is the initial illusion of success that gives government intervention its pernicious and seductive appeal. In the long run, socialism has always proven to be a formula for tyranny and misery. That Socialism is predictable, the most easily identifiable result, is that more power resides in the hands of the state who control everything in their society, who start to manipulate the information, they start rationing and hoarding everything in order to control the people with a concomitant increase in opportunities that is open to corruption.

That spreading the wealth was not about everyone sharing everything, because it didn’t include the politicians or the wealthy members of their society. They were able to keep their own wealth, but took from the poor and middle class, who suffered greatly. Socialism is one of the most corrupt form of government, because it uses fear, insecurity and intimidation to control the citizens of these countries. Socialism is the BIG LIE of the twentieth century. While it promised prosperity, equality, and security, it only delivered poverty, misery, and tyranny. Equality was achieved only in the sense that everyone was equally miserable and scared. My best friend was born and raised in Venezuela and she can explain this so much better than I can. She really wants to slap these ignorant naïfs. Don’t do this to this country, we have always been the symbol of freedom and free expression, not a dictatorship, tyranny, chaos, anarchy and misery. You don’t see people begging or sneaking into to get into Cuba, Venezuela or North Korea, do you? That should say everything you need to know about socialism or communism.

My sweet son is turning 32 in May, but I don’t know him anymore. He really screwed up his college life, and now sits at almost 30,000.00 in student debt. Through the years, we have argued about college debt and universal health care and he has tried to tell me that socialism would be the best solution even though I wasn’t even supposed to say the word! I posted some stuff about candi cdebaca yesterday and how she wants to incorporate socialism/communism in Denver ‘at any expense’….(she is Denver’s new District 9 City Council Member). I hope my son saw it because he would be out of a job since he works for ‘a nasty capitalist’ if of course the libs/wannabeesocialist/ leftists get their way. But he doesn’t see the big picture. I want him to think of ways to ‘fix’ healthcare and education costs but he would rather argue. I have tried to tell him that if people were taught healthier health alternatives, they wouldn’t be in such bad shape. We have failed as parents in allowing him to receive an education, a trip to Spain (because, you know, he was going to teach Spanish – he isn’t though), and he traveled with a girlfriend in Europe for almost 2 years instead. I worked hard for my College education and didn’t have perfect scores but I walked away with ten thousand in debt and took each class seriously. Back in the late 70’s, we believed in the American Dream but today? The youth despise America. It’s all very depressing for me.

Hi Cat – I did something today I have never done – I baked a loaf of bread! The smells reminded me of a simpler time! And I KNOW I am not supposed to eat white bread – but today? I had to get my mind off of politics for awhile.
