Too bad it was such a short interview. His reasoning for saying Bolton should withdraw the book would have been interesting. My understanding of the review process is that Bolton submitted the manuscript to lawyers at the NSC, who would review it for classified information. That is very different than executive privilege being claimed about Presidential conversations. This is going to shape up to be a really interesting chess match at the end of the week.

From the link: “…Fleitz said he failed to see the need for “a former national security adviser to publish a tell-all book critical of a president he served,” especially in the midst of a campaign “that will determine the fate of the country.”
He called on Bolton to withdraw the book – titled “The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir” – until after the election.”

As far as NSC review, guess who’s in charge of that. Col. Vindman’s twin brother! Care to venture a guess on who leaked? Ya can’t make up this shiff.

I believe that Yevgeny and Alexander Vindman are traitors and probably spies. I don’t give a damn if I am called names, but I would ask why in the hell do we have foreign born people on the NSC.

The day his book is released just so happens to coincide with the same day Trump’s team starts laying out their defense case… hmm? Coincidence? I don’t believe in coincidence but especially political ones. Bolton and the publisher I’m sure chose this date so they could sell more books. Bolton’s always been a sleaze. He’s a warmonger, so he’s pushing for more war while Trump is trying to end them. Its why Bush got rid of him too. He’s a member of the deep state. The deep state forced Trump to remove General Michael Flynn through lies and insinuation. First Flynn then HR McMasters and then Bolton. I’ve guessing McMaster’s and Bolton are deep state dwellers. I honestly don’t understand why they continually fail to realize that Trump decides foreign policy NOT the National Security Council and if they disagree with his policies, then quit or ask to be reassigned. All of the hearsay testimony came from members of the National Security Council.

I respect that he was honest in his answers, even if he didn’t want to answer the question. Thanks for the two-fer today, Mandy!

From this analysis, it would appear that Fred Fleitz is a white hat in the swamp. Not so sure he and Bolton are buddies anymore, if they ever were. Just before seeing this video, I read an article, “Former allies turn on Bolton as book roils Washington”. A line from that article is “White House officials and Trump advisers cast Bolton as a pugnacious figure disliked by many of his colleagues – contemporaneous accounts supported that – who was simply looking for a payday.” Fleitz is a source for that article. If anyone is interested, here’s a link: https://www.newstimes.com/news/article/Former-allies-turn-on-Bolton-as-book-roils-15008893.php

I like the line about the people of the country…interfering in the election of the president.
